sportdevelopment.info is the update site for www.sportdevelopment.org.uk .This new site remains a collection of resources for students about sports development in the United Kingdom, in addition to a variety of other features. The heart of the site is the document library where you can download 100’s of sports development documents both past and present spanning 50 years. We have also provided some ruff guides for students, introducing topic areas aimed at getting you started on your research journey.
Whats new.....
- Our collection of PDFs for downloading is being updated. The content from the old site is now added and new content up to 2009 is almost complete.
- New to this site are Job opportunity feeds from a variety of sources; we also have some career profiles for you to investigate.
- New is our Members section; where you can download documents; access the archive and submit content to the site. In order to keep this site going we ask for donations from members; you can be a 7 day pay-as-you-go member or support us by longer term donations.
- Our contacts page makes it easier for you to get in touch.
- Brand new for students is our link to Do-It..... Get experience by volunteering wherever you are; just type in your postcode and choose the type of experience you require - you will find a " sport" selection on the list and away you go. Some courses will give academic credit for these types of experience.
- The national sports development email database (now over 7000 members) has been moved to this site.
- We have a new Sports development Community Forum for you investigate and participate in, should you wish.
